Since our founding in 1996, it’s been a privilege to donate nearly half a million cups of coffee and almost 400K dollars to so many organizations that help make our community more vibrant and strong. Over the years, we’ve learned that when we invest deeply in long-term relationships, our impact can go even further. This is why we’ve chosen to focus all of our local giving on four do-gooding non-profits, based within two miles of our roastery.

In addition to paying fair trade and organic premiums to farmers, Peace Coffee makes an annual financial contribution to the Carbon, Coffee, and Climate Initiative. This initiative, created in 2017 with other like-minded coffee roasters, invests in efforts to help coffee farmers adapt to climate change. Examples include food security projects in Guatemala and Mexico, landslide and flood relief in Peru and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and irrigation and fertilization projects in Peru and Bolivia.

Peace Coffee provides VTO, or volunteer time off, to all of our employees. Members of our team can choose to volunteer with organizations that align with their interests, passions, and hearts.
