The addition of delightfully crunchy Marcona almonds takes these Tortas de Aceite to new heights. Sweet, with a hint of anise, tortas were introduced to Sevilla in the 8th Century from northern Africa. Today, our tortas are made by a family of five sisters who form each one by hand and they even make the sugar crystals which adorn the sweets. Try one with soft, mild cheeses or a cup of coffee.
