Our Minnesota rye mash bill (80% Hazlet rye, 10% heirloom corn, 10% malt barley) is finished in rare Sauternes casks from Bordeaux, France. These noble rot-kissed barrels bring a new dimension of dried fruit, spice and honeyed elegance.
Tasting Notes: Nose of brown sugar, orange peel and oak. Dried currants, almonds and vanilla on palate followed by a lingering baking spice finish.
