For over twenty-five years now, the Bonnie family has been perpetuating the tradition of the finest Bordeaux wines. Combining exceptional terroir and unique expertise, Château Malartic-Lagravière's red and white Grand Cru Classé Pessac-Léognan appellation delights the palates of wine lovers.
This year, the extreme climate offers a vintage that is both intense and complex, but retains the prestige of the château for a tasting that will delight lovers of great Bordeaux vintages.
It is both the terroir and the climate that determine the quality of a Pessac-Léognan appellation grand cru. Each year, we adapt the vinification and blending according to the quality of the grapes. This year, the particular climatic conditions brought a touch of character to the grand cru classé in white and red. We therefore adapted the blend to deliver a unique vintage that honors the Bordeaux region.

After the rain, we experienced one of the most beautiful summers of the decade, with a severe drought giving the grapes strength and concentration. After a dry and hot summer, the late season remained just as dry, ensuring consistent flowering and grape production. Between rain and drought, the climate has allowed us to obtain a balanced, aromatic and dense grape.
For the blend, we chose a fruit/acid balance with:
Vinification was carried out by slow pressing with cold stabilization and fermentation in barrels between 20 and 22 degrees. Aging was carried out over 12 months to guarantee a grand cru classé as an exceptional white.
This year again, the grand cru classé white wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Château Malartic-Lagravière has been praised by critics around the world.
